A small team of friendly professionals.

Darren Ward DipPFS

Director and Independent Financial Advisor

Having served 11 years in the Royal Air Force, Darren entered a career in Financial Services in 1996. Darren has been an Independent Financial Adviser for over 10 years now and specialises in wealth management and advising clients at or near to retirement.

Darren likes to build long term relationships with his clients, and utilises cash flow forecasting software to help create financial plans that give peace of mind at retirement and well beyond.

Outside of work, Darren enjoys spending time with his wife, Debbie, and four children, Daniel, Ryan, Laura and Morganne. When time allows, Darren enjoys playing golf, cooking and watching a variety of sports (that his body will no longer allow him to play!)

Paul Hyde CertPFS

Paul has been working within Financial Services for over 20 years and has a wealth of experience in both the personal and corporate advice sectors. He has a friendly, straight forward approach to financial planning and firmly believes that the clients’ interests should always be at the forefront of every decision.

Having spent many years as a consultant to other financial advisers in the corporate market, Paul feels well positioned to assist clients with their business planning, whether they are new start ups or well established businesses.

Outside of work, Paul enjoys rugby and motorsports and is a keen track day enthusiast. In addition to his sporting activities he is also a Trustee of the local Community Welfare and Social Club.

Charles Hillyer CertPFS

Charles began his career in financial services in 1996 and has been an independent adviser for over 10 years. He offers advice in the areas of savings and investments, retirement options and Inheritance Tax planning, and he is also qualified to give mortgage advice where appropriate.

Outside of work, Charles continues to play competitive rugby (when injuries permit) for his local club and has played for the same club for over 30 years! When not working or playing rugby, his diary is filled by the numerous social and sporting activities of his two children.
